About the Night
What better way to support CRC than to spend a beautiful evening at Grace Winery, surrounded by fellow environment-lovers to learn about the forests we care about so much.
Joan will provide background about the history of our forests, across the globe and specifically across our nation, and discuss the ecological importance of our ancient forests, including their carbon storing capacity. Joan will discuss the reasons for founding the Old-Growth Forest Network, along with what the Network has accomplished with the help of their supporters. She will also cover the current status of practices destroying our forests, as well as efforts to save our older forests.
This is an exciting time to get involved in forest-saving work and every voice counts. Get excited about making a difference!
